Dr. Jonathan Hunt, DDS, and his experienced staff believe in the power of technology, and they provide quality dental care in High Point and the surrounding communities of Winston-Salem and Kernersville.
We understand that technology can shorten treatment time, allow precise treatment planning, and make you more comfortable while you’re with us. That’s why we use the latest innovations to enhance your dental experience. At Jonathan Hunt, DDS, we want every visit to be as pleasant as possible.

CBCT Cone Beam Technology
Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) helps diagnose dental issues and plan treatment by producing high-quality 3-D images of your head and neck with minimal radiation. Our CBCT machine rotates around your head and emits a cone-shaped x-ray beam, capturing hundreds of images and compiling them into one three-dimensional image.
Our dental office uses CBCT cone beam tomography to diagnose cavities, infections, impacted teeth, and other dental issues. We can also use the images to precisely plan dental implant placement and orthodontic treatment, giving you the accurate results you deserve.

Digital Impressions
This modern alternative to traditional dental molds allows us to create precise three-dimensional models of your teeth and gums. Using advanced scanning technology instead of messy dental putty, we can create treatment plans for dental implants, clear aligners, crowns, bridges, and veneers.
Our intraoral scanner emits a laser beam to capture images of your teeth and gums. Digital impressions are faster, more comfortable, and more accurate than traditional impressions, getting you back to your day sooner and giving you the most beautiful smile possible.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Nitrous oxide is a colorless, odorless gas that reduces dental anxiety and keeps you calm during dental treatment. Also called “laughing gas,” this colorless, odorless gas is administered through a mask placed over your nose. During your treatment, you’ll be awake and responsive but feel relaxed, calm, and euphoric.
Once we remove the mask, the effects wear off quickly, allowing you to return to your normal day. Nitrous oxide is safe for patients of all ages and is a great way to help you receive the care you need.

SprintRay 3-D Printer
This specialized dental 3-D printer allows us to create precise dental restorations in our office, eliminating the need for an outside dental lab for crowns and bridges. This technology uses digital impressions from our intraoral camera to design and print dental restorations without using messy, uncomfortable impressions.
The SprintRay 3-D printer allows for faster treatment and fewer dental visits. Because it is highly accurate, your customized dental restoration will fit seamlessly with your smile and restore your ability to bite down and chew properly.

Primescan Intraoral Scanner
This state-of-the-art digital scanning device captures detailed 3-D images of your teeth and gums. It allows us to replace traditional dental impressions, giving you a better overall experience. We use an intraoral scanner to design dental crowns, bridges, and veneers and plan for clear aligner therapy. We can also precisely plan implant placement, giving you the ultimate function and stability.
The Primescan intraoral scanner enhances your dental experience by keeping you comfortable, allowing you to see what we see, and speeding up your visit.
